The VPR-27 is a cost-effective way to:
- Protect trail and path users by activating flashing message or warning signs to alert motorists of approaching users at roadway crossing.
- Activate automatic overhead and roll up doors as vehicle approaches.
The VPR-27 is a radar-based motion sensor capable of detecting trail users from pedestrians to golf carts in either one direction (approach-only or depart-only) or bi-directional (two-way) up to 80 feet from the sensor’s location. The VPR-27 easily mounts to sign poles. Low power requirements (12/24V AC/DC) allow for usage in solar powered applications.
When this product is used for an automatic pedestrian door application, MS Sedco recommends installation by an inspector certified by the American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers.
